Dinah Borus is an Agricultural Scientist at the International Potato Center (CIP), SSA Regional Office, Nairobi, Kenya. She has over ten years of experience coordinating potato value chain activities for several collaborative potato programs implemented in Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwanda and Uganda, funded by USAID-FtF and other development partners. In her current position, Dinah is responsible for building capacity for NARs, private sector and extension, designing and supporting seed potato system development, initiating and strengthening potato agrifood system and promoting agricultural digital tools both in Kenya and Rwanda. In addition, Dinah has over a decade of experience supporting extension programs in Kenya.

Dinah holds a PhD in Agronomy and is an awardee of USDA Borlaug Fellowship Program. She has co-authored and presented several extension and scientific presentations and publications.  She is excellent in coordinating events including open days for showcasing technologies and innovations as well as workshop and conferences.
